A long break;

break;

1. As what I've discussed before with my friends, we will reach time when we don't have time for the blog. It is also because we can't find something to put in.

2. Break is important. (We also use break in java programming)

3. My research found that many people forgot to put break in their schedule. Enough break is as important as enough study. Break keeps the momentum and consistency of works. It also processes the previous activities. That's why it's very important to take a nap in the afternoon. About 20 minutes is enough.

4. Now, what would you do when you found your previous result is bad? The answer is balance your break time and study time. Make a choice. Manage your study effectively with the this equilibrium.

5. Sleep is the best rest. There are no other medicine for sleepy other than sleep. Most of us think of sleep as a time of rest -- a time when the brain relaxes, and becomes quiet. Actually, when we're sleeping, our brain is continuing to learn the material you've been exposed to during the day.

8. The amazing truth is that learning continues after the actual studying is done. In fact, research indicates the maximum benefit of all your hard hours of studying comes about only after a good night’s sleep. (Walker MP, Brakefield T, Hobson JA, 616-620).

9. Furthermore, even though you may have stopped studying, knowledge and skills continue to improve over several nights of sleep. Although sleep on the first night following training offers the most dramatic benefit, subsequent nights of sleep continue to provide smaller, less pronounced gains. (Walker MP, Brakefield T, Hobson JA, 616-620).

10. You can applicate many thing based on all these theories. After I do some more research on this, I'll post in the future.

Who Moved My Cheese?

1. Right until now, I think this is one of the best books I have ever read. "Who moved my cheese?" by Spenser Johnson. It is a inspirational book. The book is interesting and meaningful, but costly.

2. Abstract:

The story shows what happens to the characters one day when the Cheese has been moved to another part of the Maze. Some are prepared for it and do well. Others are surprised by it and have a difficult time. As you watch what they do, you may see a part of yourself.

3. Keep reading on this post. And, watch the movie embed. Enjoy it!

4. This is some inputs from the story:

Change Happens
They Keep Moving The Cheese
Anticipate Change
Get Ready For The Cheese To Move
Monitor Change
Smell The Cheese Often So You Know When It Is Getting Old
Adapt To Change Quickly
The Quicker You Let Go Of Old Cheese, The Sooner You Can Enjoy New Cheese
Change
Move With The Cheese
Enjoy Change!
Savor The Adventure And Enjoy The Taste Of New Cheese!
Be Ready To Change Quickly And Enjoy It Again & Again
They Keep Moving The Cheese.

5. Enjoy the story!, and as you go through the story, identify which one is you - sniff, scurry, hem, haw :

6. I don't know the effect of just watching the movie, but the story in the book gives great impact on the readers.

7. Have you identified yourself? :

Sniff – sniffs out change early
Scurry – scurries into action
Hem – denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something worse
Haw – learns to adapt in time when he sees changing leads to something better

7. Real-life situation:

a. Change happen:

Sometimes, our cheese will be moved, things will not be the same everyday. You will find life is hard and you become stuck. You don't know what to do, but you do the same thing.

b. Anticipate change

You have to prepare for the change. The easiest way is to accept whatever happen to us with open-heart. You will notice that you will face many hard phases in life.

c. Adapt to change quickly

Whenever your cheese have been moved, try to act on it quickly. Think first then act accordingly. The problem is many of us fail to plan, and fail to act. Though, many of us plan but don't walk the talk. This is the same as staying without the cheese! We don't know what to do, then do the same thing everyday.

d. Change

Change! Not just stay there with the problem. Act!

e. Enjoy change

After you change, enjoy it. Sometimes, when you face hardness, you'll only have choices that still seem bad to you. If you don't make a decision, you on the first level, not making any change, staying without the cheese. But, when we make the decision on the choices, even it is bitter or sour, enjoy it, inject happiness into it. Love whatever you do!!

Now, change!!
